Johannes Berauer’s Hourglass continue tour in Dec at RNCM and Leicester and Austria in Feb
Austrian composer Johannes Berauer launched his new album “Hourglass” on Basho Records with an all star quintet featuring Gwilym Simcock on piano, Thomas Gould on violin, Mike Walker on guitar, Martin Berauer on electric bass and Bernhard Schimpelsberger on drums, percussion and konakol. They played to packed audiences with a rapturous response at Ambleside Days, Watermill Jazz Club, Kings Place and Stapleford Priory in September and continue in December to the RNCM Manchester and The Attenborough Centre Leicester.
The tour continues in Austria in early February with dates in Vienna, Bad Hofgastein and Steyer with a special live recording in Germany with the Bayerische Rundfunk.
